No nasties here!

We are 100% refined sugar free. We only use natural sweeteners like coconut sugar, maple syrup and fruits.

Minimal oil… We use very little extra virgin olive oil, much better than many other common cooking oils. We DON’T deep fry.

All our ingredients and products are animal cruelty-free have been carefully chosen to be whole, clean and natural with absolutely no nasties!

Why don’t we sell plastic drink bottles? 

We are committed to minimising our ecological footprint and this means reducing the use of plastic drink bottles. Our drinks fridge only stocks glass bottles. Or why not come in and enjoy free filtered water…bring in your own cup or use one of ours. 

What are we doing about disposable coffee cup waste? 

We ultimately prefer to avoid any single use items where possible. So please feel free to bring in your own cup or dine-in with us, instead of using disposables. However if you are in a situation where you need to grab a takeaway, we will serve you in Australia’s first ever 100% recyclable 100% compostable paper cup. Yep no plastic lining in these takeaway cups.

What about our takeaway food packaging? 

Our takeaway bowls are fully compostable & recyclable and our takeaway cutlery created from biodegradable & sustainably managed wood.  

Why do we use unusual cups and bowls? 

Our curry bowls, water jugs and copper cups are not only beautiful to use, but also Certified Fair-trade so we know that the craftspeople who made them were paid a fair price.
